As you can see by far the biggest chunk of our money comes from LCFF. Several years ago with the implementation of LCFF the way that state monies were allocated to different schools was changed such that RBUSD lost over $10M a year of its funding from the state, even more now that the transition to LCFF is fully implemented. There is far more to this topic, too much to discuss here.
My key point is that I will advocate to claw back any funding we can get from what we lost under LCFF, including increases to funding overall for schools as California remains near dead last nationwide in funding for our schools. We can not give up the fight to improve our funding.
